There are two ways within BoonDocker to locate a point.

Locator Mode allows the user to simply input a Latitude / Longitude location to locate.

WayPoint Locate allows the user to select a WayPoint from the currently loaded WayPoint set to locate.

Once the locate mode is enabled a locator arrow will be displayed on the screen and point to the location of the point.  Once within the area of the point the locator arrow will be removed and the phone will beep.

Inter BoonDocker Location Reporting allows BoonDocker to be configured to broadcast and receive Location Reporting SMS Messages between BoonDocker Smart phones.

BoonDocker can broadcast and receive Locating Reporting messages between a maximum of 6 different BoonDocker Users.  The broadcasted messages are turned into Waypoints on the receiving Smart phone.

Users can broadcast at various selectable intervals.  As new messages are received the Waypoint's location and time are updated on the receiving Smart phone.

Users can send an additional Text Message to the Inter BoonDocker Location Report message.  The text message is added to the Recipients Waypoint's Description field.

Users must be within cell tower range to send and receive SMS messages.

BoonDocker allows for the Importing of Geocaching ".loc" and ".gpx" files and conversion to WayPoints.

Geocaching files are obtained from the Geocaching.com web site, The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site.  Files can be placed either in the phone memory or the storage card for importing.

Once imported the WayPoints will have the Geocach symbol assigned, and the geocaching label and description from the file.  The ".gpx" imported files will also include a BoonDocker generated ".html" file that will include all the geocaching notes.  The file can be view by displaying the link option in the Edit WayPoint dialog.

Once imported new WayPoints can then be saved as a set.
